She's a Lady

I didn't expect to particularly love the Louis Vuitton show. I was however pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed several of the looks shown for their Fall RTW show. Being a fan of the show Mad Men, I saw a lot of that era's inspiration and I think was drawn more to the line for that. I can picture Betty Draper in many of these looks and so greatly appreciated this collection. Also the final looks of sprawling evening gowns was the perfect show stopper.

Meow

Love Miu Miu and I loved their Fall RTW show. Miu Miu always has a sense of fun and I the sixties vibe was very playful. The orange sprinkled through out the show was fantastic it was such a great color. Here are a few of my favorites:

Pretty with Ease

Contemporary clothing has a special place in my heart for sure. I love the designers because they are the innovation and creative machines that drive the fashion business, but I have to say I love that contemporary looks are made to be worn and not just for the "show" factor. This is not to say I don't love the designs created by designers that are merely for the spectacle factor. Nanette Lepore is known for feminine designs that are easy to wear and here are a few I particularly liked from the Fall RTW show:

The Wait is Over

I have been obsessing over when the Chloe show would be and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to see it. Finally today the show happened! I am a big fan of Chloe, but I have to say that while I liked the show I was a little dismayed by all the khaki and brown. We get it, you like khaki, but does it need to be all khaki? I also felt that they did the all khaki looks for their Spring RTW, so it was strange to see more of it again. What I did like was the 70's influence. I have really been liking 70's styles lately and it gives me the slight urge to get some Free People and run around with daises in my hair....Many of the looks I liked I just wish there was more color range and some more wow pieces. It was all very wearable, but every now and then you got to through in that wow factor dress or something. The all black look pictured below stood out to me and I loved that look in particular. Here are a few of my favorite looks from the show:

Little Bit of Cuteness

I keep seeing all these adorable French Bulldogs and they are just too cute for words. Couldn't resist sharing one of their cute faces. I love squished face dogs so much.

A Favorite

This just happens to be one of my favorite photo shoots, featuring Ashley Olsen in the September 2009 issue of Marie Claire.
