Pearls have never really been my thing. The "classic preppy" look comes to mind when I think of wearing pearls. That or a 50's house wife. They may be a classic look, but they are not my thing. Recently I stumbled on this:

I love the spike at the end of the pearls! Love the tougher look on a classic accessory. Yes, this item is once again a J Crew item. Seems I have been a little J Crew obsessed lately.
